BTS Bang Wa

Bang Wa BTS Station is a skytrain station on the Silom Line in Phasi Charoen District, into Bangkok's western area. Located on an intersection between Ratchaphruek Road and Phetchakasem Road, the station was opened for public use in December 2013, and it is, at the moment, the terminus and westernmost station on the Silom Line. There are plans to expand the BTS line even further beyond Bang Wa, although construction is not expected to be completed until 2017 onwards. The station is surrounded by a busy area, with cheap condominiums and apartments, local schools, colleges, temples and several shopping options serving the local Thonburi community.
