Makkasan ARL Station is a rapid transit station on the City Line and is the express rail that links Bangkok's downtown to the Suvarnabhumi Airport. Located on Kampaeng Phet 7 Road in Ratchathewi District, it is the biggest station of whole line, and was the terminus of Makkasan Express Line that was suspended in September 2014 due to a shortage of rolling stock. The station has a skywalk, accessible by escalators and elevator, connecting to Phetchaburi Subway Station, MRT Blue Line, and to Makkasan Railway Station, which is part of SRT Eastern Line that runs from Bangkok to Pattaya and Arayaphathet.
