Located in Soi Sukhumvit 27, in Wattana central district, Enoteca Italiana is without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Bangkok. Opened since 2004, the restaurant is managed by Giancarlo and his son Nicola. The original idea included the aspect of the promotion of Italian wines, along with serving well-matched simple foods. However, with time and the help of skilled chefs, it turned into the gourmet restaurant it is today, where you can enjoy the authentic high-class Italian cuisine. The Restaurant's philosophy expected a great mix between tradition with innovation, with a creative and modern cuisine, but at the same time simple, and the use of high quality and biodynamic products. Diametrically opposed to the new generation of minimalist Bangkok's restaurants, the Enoteca is hosted in a homely and warm venue, respecting the tradition of the traditional Italian restaurants. The cozy dining rooms can accommodate guests in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere with the view of a small outdoor garden. The walls are abundantly covered by vintage advertising signs and a great exhibition of Italian wines, while the bricked bar counter is covered with Italian cheeses, smoked hams and salamis, garlic and onion garlands hang from the ceiling. Enoteca's gastronomic specialties can be chosen from an great menu A La Carte or between a four-, five- or seven-course set menu, which come in two forms: Classic Degustation Menu and Surprising Enoteca Degustation Menu. Restaurant has also one of the best wine cellars in Bangkok, with more than 400 labels of Italian wines mostly organic and biodynamic. Enoteca, which literally means "Wine Library", with its hidden garden is a small oasis in the middle of Bangkok's business district, where guests can forget the frantic and busy life of capital and indulge in a real Italian gourmet experience.Read More
