Ao Wai is a small bay on the Ko Samet's south-eastern coast. Located within a short walking distance of Candlelight Beach and Ao Lung Dam, the bay hosts a small white sandy beach long no more than 200 metres. Shaded by cajeput trees, the beach houses only one resort, the Samet Villa Resort, and is very lovely and quiet, similar to the other beaches located on south-eastern coast, that are the finest and quietest of Ko Samet according to many. Surrounded by turquoise and clear waters that invite you to a refreshing swim, this secluded beach is the ideal destination for sunbath and sea lovers. Ao Wai can be reached directly by ferries from Ban Phe pier on mainland, or by a taxi from Na Dan pier.
