Ao Lung Dam beach is set in a large bay on East coast of Ko Samet, just south of Ao Sang Thian beach. The beaches are separated from each other by a wide and low rocky promontory offering a nice spot for snorkelling. Also known as Apache Beach, Ao Lung Dam is about half in width and length compared to the largest sister to the north, no more than 130 meters long and 18 meters of max wide. The short strip of white sand overlooks shallow crystalline waters of a beautiful turquoise light colour. Just off the shore you can see a lot of colourful fish. Approximately in the center of beach is located one of the island's six piers, right called Apache Pier. The sea-bottom on both sides of wooden pier is the perfect spot for swimming, here the waters of the Ao Lung Dam practically does not have stones and corals. Beach accommodations are limited to three budget resorts with restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful beach staying in a limited budget, this is the perfect beach for you. Read More
