Koh Man Nai and Koh Yuak are the largest islands in a cluster which lie off the central west coast of Koh Chang, just in front of hill between Kai Bae and Lonely Beach. The privately owned Koh Man Nai, but undeveloped, is just opposite the southern end of Kai Bae, so close to the beach that, in case of very low tide, it is possible to reach the island by walking. The island has a beautiful sandy white beach on the eastern shore, while the western and north-western sides are characterized by rocks that rise above the sea surface. Koh Yuak has a small beach on its eastern coast and shallow water all around it, which are ideal for the snorkelers. Both islands are lovely spots to cross during an easy roundtrip by kayak from Kae Bae to Lonely Beach. The group of islands off the middle west coast include also the smallest Koh Man Nok, Koh Pli and, a little further north, Koh Rom and the rocky Koh Suwan. All islands are easily accessible by kayak from Kai Bae, and have excellent points for snorkelling around them. The entire cluster of islands offers a majestic sight and a great inspiration for photos from the viewpoint at the start of the hill from Kai Bae to Lonely Beach, one of the most well-known highlights of Koh Chang.Read More
