The north western coast of Koh Samui is home to Bang Po and Ban Tai, two quiet sandy beaches with similar characteristics. Surrounded by palm trees, Bang Po Beach is the most western and longest. Divided into three sections, the third joins Ban Tai Beach. The uncrowded beach boasts white sand and clear blue waters. The are only a few mid-range resorts and restaurants along the beach, making it ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy the tropical sun almost in solitude. Ban Tai is a very small beach, but very nice and quiet, with a atmosphere that resemble a hidden tropical paradise. The tiny stretch of white and soft sand is surrounded by clear blue waters, with few corals and rocks on the shallow sandy bottom. The sea facing the beach is normally quite and safe, making it ideal for a day of swimming and relaxes for family with kids. Read More
