Windmill Viewpoint

Located near the Phuket's southernmost tip, the Windmill Viewpoint offers stunning views of Nai Harn and Ya Nui beaches and Koh Man, the tiny island situated to the right of Promthep Cape. This panoramic point is on the top of hill set between the two beaches and is well recognized by the large white windmill visible from the distance. There’s not much to this relatively small viewpoint, apart from the Promthep Alternative Energy Station, a covered sala with a sitting space and a kiosk selling drinks and fruit, but the views it offers are breathtaking. In addition to attracting tourists and amateur photographers, Windmill Viewpoint is the favourite destination for model airplane and paragliding enthusiasts who jump from the hill and then flutter above the bay brought by the wind, eventually coming to a graceful landing down at Nai Harn Beach. More
