Nual Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach located in the southernmost area of Koh Larn. The strip of sand, about 250 meters long, is surrounded by lush vegetation, mostly coconut palms. It is the island's wildest beach with clear waters and a beautiful coral reef, which makes it a great place for snorkelling. Numerous monkeys inhabit the hillside, which is why this beach is sometimes also named Monkey Beach. Nual Beach is never crowded, even in high season, and during the low season is often overlooked by tourists, so it ideal for those who to enjoy a tropical semi-deserted beach. There are no permanent structures on the beach, but there are still some food stalls and restaurants open during high season. A few years back there was a small resort, it was demolished to make place for a new larger resort. Local protest however stopped its development; currently the works are still suspended. During the low season, between April and the end of October, restaurants and stalls closed, the beach is practically deserted and if you come here it is best to bring your own towels, food and beverages. Tourists can get to the beach with a shared songthaew, fare is about 50 THB.Read More
