Haad Phrao

Ao Phrao is close to the southernmost tip of Koh Kood. It is the latest bay accessible by road on the south west coast. The beautiful stretch of white sandy beach in the bay, about a kilometer long, is one of the most beautiful and photographed in Koh Kood. Encircled by beautiful tropical forest on one side and crystal clear sea on the other, it is the ideal place to spend a dream vacation under the tropic sun. There are five resorts in Ao Phrao, three are positioned directly on the beach and are of mid-range price. The other two facilities are located in renovated houses within the fishing village, at the mouth of the river, in the western corner of the bay. To get here you have to follow the road leading from Ao Khlong Chao to Ao Yai on the east coast, pass over the roads leading to Ao Thakian and Ao Klong Hin you will come to a junction, the road on the left leads to the fishing village at Ao Yai, while the concrete road on the right leads to a temple and a small village.
