MRT Kamphaeng Phet

Kamphaeng Phet MRT Station is a subway station on the Blue Line of MRT, Metropolitan Rapid Transit, the underground rapid transit system serving the centre of Bangkok. Located beneath Kamphaeng Phet Road near Chatuchak Park, the station has an underground mall that opened in early 2009, and provides a direct access to the OrTorKor Market and world-famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. Chatuchak is the largest market in Thailand and one of the world's largest weekend markets. It is estimated that each day, in an average weekend, over than 200,000 visitors come here to browse through the merchandise on offer, a good number of visitors use the Kamphaeng Phet and Chatuchak Park subway stations to get here.
