The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Marine Department and Thai Chamber of Commerce, ICONSIAM, Business Trade Association on the Chao Phraya River and local community would like to invite all to the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2022 @ICONSIAM - New Year celebrations that will take place on Friday 31st December 2021 at River Park of ICONSIAM at the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
To create happiness, cherish smiles and empower all Thais with “Amazing Thailand Countdown 2022”, The one and only World-Class Countdown Landmark of Thailand. Under the Concept of “Win The World For Thailand” with Thai Identity. Be amazed with 1,400-meter length eco-friendly sticky rice Multimedia Fireworks with spectacular Light-and-sound along the most beautiful bank of Chao Phraya River.
► Highlight: The countdown event will feature several activities including stage performances and fireworks at midnight.
► ICONSIAM, the big shopping complex by the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok’s Khlong San district, reportedly plans to launch the biggest fireworks made from sticky rice. The event will be broadcast live via social media and international news channels like CNN, BBC and ABC.
► The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has sought cooperation from the private sector wishing to organise New Year countdowns by asking it to strictly abide by safety measures, including having a Covid-Free Setting, screening and cleaning of premises, implementing social distancing and providing a quarantine facility for infected people, etc. Participants must be vaccinated or produce a negative ATK test result taken not more than 72 hours before events.
