Located just 10 minutes walk north of Mae Haad, Sairee Beach is Koh Tao's longest beach but also the busiest. About 1.7 km in length, this white and soft sandy strip is highly appreciated by both those staying in Sairee and Mae Haad. Surrounded by shallow crystal turquoise waters, Sairee Beach is ideal for swimming and relaxing under the tropic sun. The coral reef is just 100 meters from the shore and offers great opportunities for snorkelling. Behind the beach there are a multitude of hotels and guesthouses, plenty of restaurants offering Thai and International cuisine, and numerous beach bars from which you can enjoy the sunset by drinking a cocktail. In the evening in the southern area are held many party with loud music that enlivening the night. The northern area of Sairee is more quiet and is recommended for tourists who want to enjoy a holiday in total relaxation. Accommodations in this part of the island offer a great choice, from bungalows that cost only 400 Baht per night up to luxury resorts cost 5,000 Baht per night. Most of the facilities are close to the beach, in the northermost area there are some beautiful bungalows built on the rocks.Read More
