Mida Golf Club, formerly called The Lion Hills Golf & Country Club, boasts a central location in the Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand. Situated 24 Km west of the provincial capital, just off Highway 3229 leading to Erawan National Park, it is easily accessible from Bangkok, no more than 2 hours by car. Kanchanaburi is well known for its scenic views and fabulous sunsets, in this respect Mida Golf Club does not disappoint. Majestic mountains and pine-tree wooded landscape feature through the entire layout. Mida's course is a common 18-hole, par-72, 6,844 yards, which extends over 800 acres. Conditions are good, and most of the holes are flat and straightforward. Greens have little undulations making straight putting more important than good green reading. Facilities at Mida are adequate with driving range, pitching and chipping areas and practice green. The club house, despite is very small for Thailand's golf courses standards, is more than adequate for golfers needs.
Getting there: Mida Golf Club is situated in Lat Ya sub-district of Kanchanaburi Province, just 20 minutes drive to west from the provincial capital and about 155 west of Bangkok.
