The two Khao Takiab's hills set at extreme south of city delimit the end of Hua Hin Beach. At the base of the hills is a 20 meters tall Buddha image, while atop stands the Wat Khao Lad that offers a beautiful 360 degrees panoramic view. About 800 meters offshore can also be seen the Singhtoh Island. Khao Takiab Beach is on the other side of the hills and is practically the continuation of Hat Hau Hin. The beach is about 4 km long, a large expanse of white sand with shallow waters. It is flatter and wider than Hua Hin's one, perfect for play football or beach volleyball, and it is ideal for kids. Khao Takiab Beach has developed recently and now boasts several hotels, resorts and trendy restaurants, with Thai and international cuisine. Getting to Khao Takiab is easy. The local songtaews are the cheapest way to reach the beach; the rate is 10 THB from central Hua Hin.Read More
