Nonthaburi Civic Center Station MRT Station is an elevated station on the Purple Line of of Bangkok's Metropolitan Rapid Transit system. This line of MRT runs from south to north-west, between Tao Poon, about 1 Km to north of Dusit district, and Khlong Bang Phai Station, in the adjacent Nonthaburi Province. Opened to service on 6 August 2016, the station is located on Rattanathibet Road in the centre of Mueang Nonthaburi. Close to station are situated most of Nonthaburi's provincial offices, such as Mueang Nonthaburi District Office to north, Provincial Police Station and the National Disaster Warning Center Thai Kom Satellite Station to south. To the east, it provides access to the Esplanade shopping and cinema complex, located in the Tesco Lotus hypermarket. The station has four entrances from Rattanathibet Road, two to the west and two to east.
