Almost overnight, his passion and hobby turned into steady work in the local scene. Benda worked his way up to the Paris nightclub scene throughout the following years and played the decks at Follow Me, Rexy, Mojito Lab, Casino de Paris, Folie's Pigalle, and more. During this time, Benda was mentored and worked with other well-respected local DJs such as Jean-Phi Sanchez, Dee Nice, Wäde, RVB, and Jess Lewis. In the summer of 2009, Benda worked his way into a residency at Paris' perennial top nightclub, Banana Café. It was here that he was mentored by fellow resident DJ Jean-Phi Sanchez, who taught him that DJing was not only about playing good music, but entertaining the crowd. Benda quickly learned that any good DJ can make a crowd dance, but a great DJ can create memories.
