Monkey Club is one of the most popular nightspots in Chiang Mai. The club nestles in Nimmanhaemin Road, a few steps away from Warm Up Café. Smaller than the most popular neighbouring, Monkey Club follows the same entertainment concept of having an expansive outdoor terrace area with restaurant hosting live bands and an air-conditioned indoor nightclub with DJs playing House and Trance till late at night. The venue is much appreciated by the local youth, mostly university students, because in the Monkey Club you can listen to music, dance and also have a dinner with your favourite Thai dishes. Occasionally the Monkey Club hosts famous Thai rock bands, but every night the live band on stage is well-matched and plays a mix of popular Thai songs and classical Western hits. Drink prices are reasonable with beers under 100 baht and a bottle of Johnny Walker Red Label for less than 1,000 baht. The restaurant is divided into an air-conditioned indoor area and an outdoor chill-out lounge area, and offers basic dishes such as chicken wings, som tam, noodle soups, shrimp and grilled pork at really affordable prices.Read More
