Get Soaked at the Songkran Festival

The country of Thailand enjoys a lot of different festivals per year. One of the more popular ones is the Songkran Festival or Water Festival. This one is good for travelers as it’s a nationwide festival—so no matter where you happen to be in Thailand, there is some form of Songkran Festival celebration happening where you are. Be prepared to get splashed by water so make sure any gadgets or wallets are safely stored in waterproof bags.
