Bai Lan Bay

Bailan Bay is perhaps the least developed area in terms of infrastructure on Koh Chang's west coast. Situated 33 km south of Ao Sapparot Pier, the beach is quite short and rather rocky, but there are still sandy banks and the view offered is fantastic. The coast boasts beautiful stretches of mangrove, unfortunately most of these were lost when the resorts built in the area has preferred to cut them a few years ago. In the last decades, the lack of white sandy coastline has limited land sales, so the infrastructure has been limited to some low-level resorts, bars and restaurants on the beach and some guest houses on road. In recent years, the situation is changing, the tranquility of the bay has encouraged investors who have built new structures from one to four stars, suitable for both backpackers and the most demanding tourists. Many of these new developments are on the promontory and offer panoramic views to the south of bay, some slightly more luxurious are located to the north. In a stretch of sandy coast was also built a beautiful bungalow-style resort with swimming pool.
